As part of its lobbying activities with the federal authorities, GEM invited parliamentarians from both chambers to a breakfast on the subject of Tax Project 17. Organized on the sidelines of the autumn parliamentary session, the meeting provided an opportunity to review the background and international context of the reform, as well as GEM’s technical position and expectations. The GEM delegation, comprising François Rohrbach (Chairman), Christoph Wissmann (member of the Tax Commission), Claude Ehretsman (head of the Public Affairs Commission) and Arnaud Bürgin (General Secretary), met with around ten members of parliament from both chambers, from all political persuasions and from various cantons.
